The lobby is a casual open-air expanse that features calming earth tones, clean lines and geometric shapes. The office is really one big room with minimal wall intrusions in order to provide the most ergonomic layout possible. Simplicity drives the design, which transforms what could be a stuffy office into a relaxing, comfortable space.
Dr. Fulton designed the entire office herself; basing her vision around a dream she had about the carpet. She personally oversaw every detail, from the color scheme to the furnishings - even the drawer pulls!
The operation rooms, which have no doors, are designed to be as comforting and engaging as possible. The tall, locally built custom cabinets that Dr. Fulton and her husband designed block any noise a door would usually keep out.
TV screens angled for easy viewing serve both entertainment and practical medical purposes, as patients can see x-ray results and are encouraged to participate in the decision making process.
Ample windows provide an abundance of natural light. The combination of green walls and natural light create the best possible conditions for the medical team, as colors in the operating room aren’t tainted in any way. This is essential for detailed procedures such as matching tooth colors for veneers.
Cleanliness is key at Star City Dental. Sinks are polished almost daily, all clutter is kept off counters, and sanitation areas are out in the open so patients can personally see the medical team’s superior sanitation practices.
